Did You Know That Baptism Does Not Replace True Conversion?
Did You Know That being baptized does not automatically mean that true conversion has taken place? When we go into the water, we identify with Christ’s death. When we rise from the water, we symbolize a new life in Him — a life transformed by the power of God. Baptism does not replace repentance, faith, or genuine conversion. It points to the salvation we receive through Jesus Christ. Romans 6:3–4; 2 Corinthians 5:17.
Did You Know That the Bible Never Promises Financial Prosperity?
The Bible never presents financial prosperity as a universal promise for every believer. Scripture speaks of provision, work, generosity and stewardship, yet it also shows faithful men and women facing scarcity, illness and suffering. Philippians 4:13 is not a promise that faith can obtain anything we want: Paul is saying that Christ gives him strength to stay faithful in abundance and in need. 1 Timothy 6 warns against turning godliness into a means of gain, and Matthew 6:19-20 points our treasure toward heaven rather than earthly wealth.
Did you know that saying “God is good” does not mean ignoring His justice, holiness, or judgment?
Saying “God is good” sounds easy, but if God is good, why does He judge? The Bible does not present Him as a sentimental being who overlooks sin; He is loving, merciful and patient, and also holy, just and Judge. His justice is not the opposite of His goodness but part of it. In Genesis 9 the rainbow is the sign of His covenant and mercy, and at the cross Christ bore the judgment we deserved while God offered forgiveness to the guilty.
Did you know that biblical tithing was not simply about giving 10% of your money every week?
Are Christians required to give exactly 10% of their income? In the Old Testament, the tithe belonged to God's covenant with Israel: it was tied to crops and livestock, supported the Levites and cared for foreigners, orphans and widows. The New Testament calls believers to give generously, but it does not present 10% as a universal fee for the Church or as a condition for God's blessing. As 2 Corinthians 9:7 teaches, giving should be willing and cheerful, never a way to purchase God's favor.
Did you know that going into the water does not automatically make someone a new creation?
Baptism is not a magical ritual or merely a religious ceremony. Water by itself cannot wash away sin or produce salvation. We are saved by God's grace through faith in Jesus Christ and in the work He accomplished on the cross. Baptism is a public expression of faith, obedience, and identification with Christ.
